St. Linus
School Supplies Program

The Foundation worked in cooperation with Ms. Thu Do, principal at St. Linus School in Norwalk, California.

Each of the 34 children in the 2022-2023 program was given a backpack filled with grade-appropriate school supplies. The Foundation served the children during the back-to-school season and distributed the backpacks filled with supplies in time for the first day of school. The exact supplies in the backpacks were specified by the teachers at each grade level. In addition, in the 2022-2023 school year, the Foundation provided $100 vouchers to each child in the program to go towards the purchase of their school uniform.

St. Linus
Weekend Food Program

The Foundation purchased, sorted, and bagged food for 24 children from grades K through 8 at St. Linus School in Norwalk, California during the Spring semester of the 2021-2022 school year.

The Foundation worked closely with Ms. Thu Do, principal at St. Linus, to communicate to the targeted parents at the beginning of the program and during the school year if any changes were necessary. The teachers and staff ensured that the parents and/or students picked up the bag of food every Friday. At the end of the school year the teachers and parents were surveyed to determine what worked and areas for improvement for the program.
